Butchery course gift vouchers
A butchery class is a good present because it is a thing to do rather than a thing to own. Here is which providers sell vouchers, what they say about validity, and what consumer law says if a voucher runs out.
Most providers on this site sell vouchers for a named class or for a value, and the terms vary: some run for a year, some longer, some are tied to a specific course that fills up months ahead. The facts below are taken from each provider's own voucher page and from the consumer guidance on expiry.
What the providers and the consumer guidance say

Buying well
Buy the voucher for the class the person actually wants, check the booking calendar before you buy so the validity period covers a date they can make, and keep the confirmation email, which is usually the voucher itself.
Where an official source could not be read on the day we checked, the point is left out rather than guessed; we add it when the source is confirmed.
